The content on the Site — including descriptions of acupuncture, conditions it may help address, and educational materials — is provided for general informational and educational purposes only. It is not intended as medical advice, diagnosis, or a guarantee of specific treatment outcomes.
Licensed acupuncturists in North Carolina are direct-access healthcare providers, and no physician referral is required to schedule an appointment with us. Your individualized plan of care will be developed during your initial consultation based on your health history, goals, and clinical presentation. Individual results vary.
If you are experiencing a medical emergency, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room. Do not rely on the Site or on email or scheduling messages for urgent medical concerns.
4. Appointment Booking
Our Site allows you to schedule appointments online. By booking, you represent that the information you provide is accurate and that you are at least 18 years old, or that you are the parent or legal guardian of the minor for whom the appointment is being made.
Booking an appointment online does not create a provider-patient relationship until you complete intake and are seen for your appointment. We reserve the right to decline or reschedule appointments at our discretion, including where a requested service is outside our scope of practice or where we determine that another provider would better serve your needs.
5. Payments & Deposits
Our services require a credit card of file prior to the appointment, at the time of booking. All fees are stated in U.S. dollars and are due at the time of service unless otherwise indicated. We accept the payment methods listed at checkout.
By submitting payment information, you authorize us (or our third-party payment processor) to charge the applicable amount to your selected payment method. We do not store full payment card details on our servers; payments are processed through a PCI-compliant third-party payment processor.
The prepaid acupuncture packages are non-transferable and expire 6 months from the date of purchase, unless stated otherwise.
Cancellation & No-Show Policy
We ask for your help in respecting our scheduling and the time of other patients.
Cancellations and rescheduling: Appointments may be cancelled or rescheduled at no charge if we receive notice at least 24 hours before the scheduled appointment time.
Late cancellations: Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the appointment will be charged 50% of the appointment fee.
No-shows: If you do not arrive for a scheduled appointment and do not provide notice, you will be charged for the full appointment fee / a no-show fee of the cost of the session.
Late arrivals: If you arrive more than [15] minutes late, we may need to shorten your session or reschedule, and the full appointment fee will still apply.
We may waive fees at our discretion in the case of genuine emergencies or extenuating circumstances.
